Unlike most players, Fatma grew up around basketball with a whole family of pro players in the UAE. Watching cousins play around her sparked a love that got her fast-tracked to the top. She transitioned from casual games with family and neighbors to actively participating and excelling in school tournaments, eventually earning her place on the UAE National Team.
Fatma’s young football career adds a unique flavor to her male-heavy family’s sporting legacy. When she’s not on a pitch, she’s watching one, not missing a single Barcelona or Al Wasl football game.
