With the start of the new season, we are placing a strong emphasis on community engagement and expanding visibility for womenโ€™s football across Dubai. As part of this effort, our team has launched a series of school visits designed to inspire young girls and create new opportunities for them to experience the game.

This week, we had the pleasure of visiting Mirdif American School, in collaboration with their PE department. During this visit, we had the chance to speak to more than 150 girls from grades 4 to 10 about Banaat FC, womenโ€™s football in the UAE, and what it means to be part of a growing movement for girls in sport.

The visit featured members of our first team, Shjoon, Aisha, Anah, Wuyah, and Mel, who joined for a morning of football and fun. We kicked things off with a short presentation introducing who we are as a club, highlighting our journey and achievements in advancing womenโ€™s football over the past two years.

Following the talk, our U15 academy and assistant first-team coach, Kevin, led an engaging football session that encouraged the girls to get active, build confidence, and experience the joy of the game firsthand. To wrap up the morning, we gifted each student our โ€œYallah Banaatโ€ team poster as a small token of appreciation.

This visit marks a meaningful milestone for us, our first-ever first-team school visit in Dubai. For many of the students, it was their first time hearing about Banaat FC and learning about the opportunities available for girls in football. Weโ€™re proud to continue building connections within our community and to inspire the next generation of girls to step onto the pitch.
