After opening their AWCL campaign with a hard-fought 1–1 draw against Royal Thimphu College FC, Banaat FC returned to Markaziy Stadium with three points firmly in their sights.
The opening stages were relatively measured, with Master FC showing good organization and some promising passing combinations of their own.
But once Banaat FC found their rhythm, the goals followed.

Finding the Breakthrough
Banaat FC's first goal arrived in the 22nd minute.
Sabrine Mamay (10) received the ball from Elizabeth “Lizz” Forshaw (8) and drove towards the box before attempting to find Isabella Morais (5) at the right-hand post. A Master FC defender attempted to intercept the pass, but the resulting deflection looped into the goal to give Banaat FC the lead.

The breakthrough opened the game up.
Eight minutes later, Agyemang (Servi) Asirifi (19) found Fatima Alhosani (4) on the left. Fatima delivered a cross into the box, where Sabrine rose to meet it and headed the ball into the bottom-right corner.

Banaat FC added a third just three minutes later.
Isabella Morais (5) delivered a corner from the right, sending a high ball into the box. After a scramble, Captain Salha Rashid Alzaabi (6) rose highest and connected with a header that found the left side of the net.

Despite Master FC continuing to compete and create moments through their passing game, Banaat FC went into half-time with a three-goal advantage.
Banaat FC Turn Up the Pressure
The second half saw Banaat FC continue to build on their advantage.
In the 51st minute, Nouf Al Anzi (9) delivered a cross into the box which Sabrine reached, before directing the ball backwards into the path of Lizz.
Lizz took control, worked past two defenders and finished into the lower-right corner.

Banaat FC continued to rotate the squad as the match progressed, with Shjoon Alshehhi (18) replacing Servi and Ahoud Al Zarkan (12) coming on for Fatima in the 71st minute.
Moments later, Banaat FC added a fifth.
Another corner created a scramble inside the Master FC box. Salha's header was intercepted, but the deflection fell perfectly to Sabrine on the edge of the box.
She needed just one touch.
A clean right-footed strike flew into the top-right corner.

A Late Goal Rush
Banaat FC continued to make use of their bench as the match entered its final stages, with Tarfa Alghafri (17) introduced for Rayana Issa (21).
The fresh legs helped maintain the intensity as Banaat FC continued to press forward.
In the 86th minute, Nouf released Sabrine down the left. Despite the defensive pressure, Sabrine reached the ball and delivered into the box.
A Master FC defender got a touch, but Shujoun was there to intercept, sending her finish into the bottom-left corner.

Just two minutes later, Banaat FC found another.
Sabrine intercepted a Master FC pass before sending the ball towards Lizz inside the box. As the ball fell slightly wide, Isabella took the opportunity to strike, finding the right side of the net.

Banaat FC made their final substitution in the 89th minute, with Marwah Almenhali (29) coming on for Areej Alhammadi (13).
But Banaat FC weren't finished.
Stoppage-Time Surge
With five minutes of added time indicated, the scoring continued.
In the 90+2nd minute, a long ball from the Banaat FC half sent Lizz racing towards the Master FC goal. With no defender ahead of her, she found herself one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
From the edge of the penalty area, she calmly struck into the top-right corner.

Three minutes later, Banaat FC added a ninth.
Salha (6) sent a free-kick from inside the Banaat FC half towards the opposition box. Sabrine collected the ball outside the right side of the area before producing another excellent strike.
The ball sailed over the goalkeeper and into the net.

The final whistle followed shortly afterwards.
Nine Goals. Three Points.
Banaat FC finished the evening with a comprehensive 9–0 victory, recording 62% possession, 17 shots and 13 shots on target. Master FC registered six attempts, four of which were on target.
The result marked Banaat FC's first AFC Women’s Champions League victory and put three important points on the board in Group C.
It was also a performance that demonstrated the squad's ability to grow into a match.
Master FC showed moments of good teamwork and coordination during the opening stages, but Banaat FC's attacking quality eventually proved decisive. Once the UAE champions found their rhythm, they continued to build momentum and punish opportunities in front of goal.

With one group-stage fixture remaining, Banaat FC's Preliminary Stage campaign was heading towards its decisive moment.
The final challenge would come against PFC Nasaf, the host club, in what would be Banaat FC's final opportunity to secure their place in the next stage of the AFC Women’s Champions League.
