To close out the first official season of the Banaat FC academy, we hosted an afternoon gathering at Café Rider, bringing together our players, their families, and coaching staff.
Each player received a tailored award that reflected their growth throughout the season. These weren’t generic trophies; they represented individual progress and the standards we expect from our athletes on and off the pitch.
This first season saw meaningful achievements. Our U18 academy team finished second in both the UAE Women’s Second Division League and the Abu Dhabi Cup, and placed third at the Mina Cup, strong results that set the tone for future competition. More importantly, we saw real development: two players were promoted to the First Team and U18 players regularly trained alongside our first team players.
The event marked a major milestone in the club and gave us the opportunity to reflect on what has been a landmark year for the academy. They reflect our commitment to empowering local Arab talent, advancing women’s football within Emirati culture, and building a space where football can unite families and players behind a shared vision. As we prepare for Season 2, we’re proud of what we’ve built and even more excited about where we’re heading. Yallah Banaat!
