Banaat FC secured a crucial three points in their electrifying relegation battle against Precision last Monday at Humaid Al Tayer Stadium, emerging with a convincing 4-1 victory. This win, their second under new coach Bacary Sagna, demonstrated the dramatic improvements already taking shape in such a short period of time.

The scoring opened up for Manela Donyoh, in the 9th minute of the match. Thanks to midfielder Safa Shafi's high pressure, Donyoh took full advantage of a misplaced back pass, getting herself in a one-on-one position with the keeper. She found the back of the net by calmly chipping the ball past the keeper.

A risky challenge in the box gave Banaat FC their second of the game as veteran captain, Dunia Tarkane, successfully converted the penalty kick. The scoring continued from a free kick deep in Precision’s half. Angelina Bouhatoum placed the ball perfectly in the box, finding Manela Donyoh’s head as she redirected the ball into the top right corner. Banaat led 3-0 at the half.

The second half was easily as exhilarating as the first. In the 60th minute, a foul committed by a Precision defender led to the ejection of two of their players and assistant manager. Precision would continue the match 2 women down.

Still hungry for more opportunities, they carried their momentum into the second half. Tarkane sealed her brace in style, by placing a precise shot from the edge of the 18-yard box into the top right corner of the goal.

Although Banaat FC led by 4, Precision still managed to find the back of the net, after a scramble in the box.

Through the leadership of Bacary Sagna, Banaat FC was able to put on a dominant display of skill, composure, and tactical discipline. This performance sent a clear message about their determination to remain in the first division. With this crucial win, they will look to carry their momentum into the 2025 season.
