📍 Al Nasr Football School Pitch
Last Sunday, Banaat FC hosted a special Iftar on the football pitch—an evening that was both a celebration of Ramadan’s traditions and a tribute to the incredible families of our players in honor of International Women’s Day. It was a night that embodied the spirit of community, gratitude, and the shared values that define our club.

The Iftar, hosted by club president Budreya Faisal, felt like an old-school family gathering, with the families of our players bringing haseer mats, desserts, coffee, and more, while also helping set up and take everything down. As always, football was at the heart of the evening—while the kids and players took to the pitch for impromptu matches, parents enjoyed karak, coffee, and conversations about the past, present, and future of their daughters and the team.

Head Coach Bacary Sagna was in attendance, meeting all the academy families and players, further strengthening the connection between the coaching staff and the community. UAE National Team star Harib Abdullah, who has been a supporter of Banaat FC since its inception, also joined the gathering, adding to the special nature of the evening.

The event was graciously hosted at Al Nasr Club, where our first team trains three nights a week, making it even more meaningful to share such a special moment on the very ground where the team’s journey unfolds.

As the sun set and the call to prayer signaled the breaking of the fast, the essence of Ramadan was truly felt—through shared meals, gratitude, and a strong sense of togetherness. Moments like these remind us that Banaat FC is more than just a football club, it’s a family.

Here’s to more nights of unity, culture, and football. Ramadan Mubarak.
