On Friday night, the Banaat FC Hub was abuzz with energy. We were busy preparing for a special evening of celebration. Only one week prior, Banaat FC defeated Empire FC to win the UAE Women’s League in a tense match at Al Nasr Club. It’s the first win of its kind in the Club’s history, and it doubly resonates given the win was earnt on home turf.
So, it’s only natural that the Banaat FC family would get together and celebrate the Club’s crowning achievement. For one night only, the Hub was transformed into a chic party venue, complete with comfortable nooks of seating, tables of sweet and salty treats, a matcha bar, a photo area, and ambient lighting in the Club’s signature lilac, of course. At 8pm, players, supporters, friends, families, partners, and members of the wider football community joined us for an unforgettable evening, filling our home with pride, connection, and gratitude.
Some of the highlights of the evening included the opportunity for fans to chat with their champions, see the League shield up close, and take professional photographs with the trophy. These moments allowed our supporters to become part of the celebration and create lasting memories alongside the team.
The evening was elevated even more with the support and presence of our special guests. Banaat FC would like to thank His Excellency Saeed Hareb, Secretary General of the Dubai Sports Council, for joining us and continuing to champion the growth of sport in the UAE. Additionally, we would like to thank Hind AlRaeesi, whose professional photography beautifully captured the spirit, joy, and emotion of the evening, ensuring these memories will be cherished for years to come.
We are also incredibly grateful to the Alserkal Avenue community, whose generosity and support helped make the evening so special. Their commitment to fostering creativity, culture, and community perfectly reflects the values we strive to embody as a Club.
A heartfelt thank you to our Alserkal neighbors, NALA and SUBKO, and to Brown Sugar, who generously catered the event and helped create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for everyone in attendance. A special mention goes to Club Ocha, whose generous contribution of their Matcha bar not only served delicious matcha and mocktails, but elevated the entire space, adding energy to an already memorable occasion .
Finally, we would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Alserkal Avenue for embracing and supporting women's football, and for providing a platform where sport and community can come together in meaningful ways.
The event was more than just a party, it was the celebration of three years worth of blood, sweat and tears that have led the Club to this point. More poignantly, it was the perfect reflection of the community that has stood beside us throughout the seasons.
As we celebrated our league title, we were reminded that success is never achieved alone. It is built through the dedication of players and staff, the passion of supporters, the belief of partners, and the strength of a community that rallies behind a shared vision.
After the celebration ended and we said goodbye to our friends and family, the players stayed behind for a private meeting with Club President Budreya Faisal and the Club’s long-term ally, footballer Hareb Abdullah. Together, they reflected on the team’s journey and congratulated the players on their hard-earnt success. As a surprise, the players were given goodie bags filled with treats from Subko, Maison Etherique, the Workshop DXB, and Alserkal.
To everyone who attended, contributed, and celebrated with us—thank you. This championship belongs to all of us.
