Introduction
The Academy Awards took place on Saturday 27th June 2026 at the Banaat FC Hub in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, bringing together players, families, and friends to celebrate another incredible season at Banaat FC Academy.
The event was opened by Budreya Faisal, our club president, who warmly welcomed everyone into the space and set the tone for a morning dedicated to recognition, reflection, and community.
The Hub was transformed for the occasion, with an extended majlis-style seating arrangement creating a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. Additional cushions were placed throughout for younger academy members, while a dedicated coffee bar ensured parents and guests could enjoy their morning caffeine fix. The space was further elevated with thoughtful lighting and a photography setup to capture the special moments throughout the event.
Academy Recognition
Each player across all age groups was recognized for their continued dedication and commitment to Banaat FC Academy. Personalized slides were presented for every attendee, alongside certificates and curated gift bags to mark their achievements over the season.
Reflections
Coach Rajvi, who works with the U11 and U13 groups, shared her appreciation for the players, reflecting on their growth and expressing gratitude for being part of their development journey.
Coach Kevin, who leads the U15 and U17 groups, highlighted standout performances and memorable moments from the season, both on and off the pitch, celebrating the character and progress shown by the players.
Budreya delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting on the academy’s journey, recognizing the contributions of players, coaches, and families, and expressing gratitude to those who have supported Banaat FC from its early stages.
